If things were normal and I was traveling / spending as usual, getting the CSR or AMEX platinum would make sense. But with things the way they are, what should I do? I racked up about $20k in credit card debt due to a confluence of things happening at once (move, school expenses , etc ). I have a fair amount of paper assets but not a much free cash. Assets are down a decent amount with the current market cycle and I’d prefer not to sell them to cover the debt , although they easily could.
