Time for a raise? Need advice on asking for a hike!
I'm a 2024 grad working full-time at a startup for 8 months after a 6-month internship. I'm really good at my job and made decisions that saved the company money.
Right now, I make 23k/month (post-deductions) in Pune, which isn't enough since I support my family.
Our increment cycle is in March. Should I ask for a raise now? If so, how much? Everyone's been impressed with my work since day one.
I want to stay for 2 years to gain experience.

Has any companies given their employees good raises to help with the rising costs of everything? I was a top performer and only got around 3% this last year.

Anyone else super unimpressed with administrative support with a new firm after lateraling? I told a partner I’d just take care of a routine task myself. He told me my rate is too high and to use a “project manager” (basically an intern they can pay less than a paralegal). We have a 40 person group and 3 project managers making starvation wages. Big firm. You’d know the name.

Why do you think ZS canceled the internship for the '23 batch? AFAIK they did not do this even during the pandemic. Are the full-time campus placement offers also in danger of being revoked?

So, do I need to show all the investment proofs that I declared here as it's only been 5 months in the fiscal year and PPF of 1 lac would make the 5 month salary (5 lacs) non-taxable, right?
