Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group is too slow. For anything you wanna do inside the organization, 12 months of tenure is required. Even for promotions its the same no matter hoew exceptionally you perform.
Whereas Bain & Company has no such minimum tenure requirement. My colleague got promoted in 4th months of joining right out of college.

I thought most people already had reconsidered resume gaps? it was my impression that people didn't focus on this so much, and that's how I've always treated the issue. Are there still a lot of recruiters/hiring managers that care about resume gaps?
I’ve reviewed nearly 1,000 resumes in the last 6 weeks and for the most part I’m not even paying attention to dates. However, once I see the right experience, then I’ll look at dates to see how long they may have that experience, and as I dig in further I’ll also go to LinkedIn profiles to see how the skills and experience are being described there. One thing that has caused me to move on from a candidate is when the resume and LinkedIn don’t match - particularly when one says they are still employed and the other doesn’t. That inconsistency raises a red flag to me, more than just seeing they aren’t currently employed. At this point, the majority of applicants don’t appear to be currently employed.
