To be honest, I'm one of the few AMs who enjoys being one. Every other AM I know in the agency world hates the role. I cannot use creativity to save my life, but I love talking to people who can and appreciate the craft behind it so much. Which is most of what my job is. Do you like your job? Experience: Freelance Professor: 3 Years (Multiple coaching classes in Mumbai) Home Tuitions: 2 years UPSC Preparation: 2 years (Gave several other exam attempts) SSB Conference out, 2019 Eventually ended up in corporate due to life situations (assumable) Currently Trainer & QA Lead with 5.4 LPA. Expected an L4 but it is still being delayed even after a strong doc to present.

Landed a role in a new industry in which I don’t have much experience but finally exiting out of consulting. I am a bit apprehensive about this change and the new role. Any tips or resources that helped others do well in a new role?

Hello, I was recently let go from my firm for not being able to pass the series 10 exam. I passed the 9 and have my SIE, 7, and 63. Are there any jobs out there that require the 9 but not the 10? All the jobs I can find require them both but I’d like to use my 9. Thanks for any advice!

How would you rate the freelance market at the moment? I’ve recently quit fulltime, and beyond a couple of my own (LLC) short client projects - I’ve had zero agency freelance over the summer.
I have 10 years exp (2.5 as CD on well known brands) at respected agencies, and some awards.
What am I doing wrong? I left FT to address some long term burnout, but now I’m afraid if this continues - I’ll have to go back full time, without even snagging a FL gig. 🫤

This annual appraisal I have got a good % of appraisal increment on my salary but I was not promoted to a senior developer (although I have been mentoring a junior dev in my team and been part of building the project by implementing new technologies and tweaks) and my total YoE is 3.5+ years. I am an Senior iOS developer. YOE is 8.5. Currently getting 13 LPA. Getting promotion in a month with 25 to 30 percent hike which comes nearly 16.8 LPA. I cannot able to relocate now due to family dependency reasons. I heard iOS developer salary market is good. I am having a very good work life balance in the current company. I am in a confusion. Should I look for opportunities with PWFM or stay in current company? Am I making low pay as per market trends?

Hello, I’m an associate (almost at the one year mark) at a midsize firm on the EPL team. I did about 2 years of employment law as a clerk during school and know that’s what I want to go into. I’ve asked for more EPL work but keep catching PI cases. I second-chaired an employment trial but don’t see any EPL work for the foreseeable future and wasn’t getting as much EPL exposure as I wanted before the trial. Any advice on a lateral move to a bigger firm with a broader range of EPL work?
