Trying to find a lateral (with their own book) to join our firm. We are a small firm of about 6 attorneys and represent a number of super high net worth investors and investment firms. So there would likely be significant referrals to the lateral. Any advice on finding such a person.

I’m a new CSM (9 months) and I work at a company that doesn’t invest much in its CSM team. I’ve been struggling because as time goes on I feel more and more like a token hire. We have no play book/structure, no CSM tool and I’m current organizing all 95 of my clients on spreadsheets while also handling presales trials with a salary under 50k.

Long story short: I’m searching for mentorship or to be pointed in the direction of a good course so I can help the clients I do have while I’m here

Hey folks, I’m about a year into my new SE career and looking to continue to invest in professional skills. I’ve obviously been thrown into the fire learning the sales side of things, but what areas (technical skills, certs, books, etc.) you all would recommend I look to invest in? I’ve been looking at some beginner coding boot camps and scrum product owner certs, but interested in what you all have done to further advance your career

For any of you real estate investors, what tools or sources did you learn from when getting started. Can’t find a mentor currently so want to find some highly recommended books or videos. If focused on the tri-state area (NY, NJ, Long Island mainly) that would be even better. My hope is to buy and rent out a apartment while also owning a house and house hacking that by renting part of it out. Trying to understand all the steps, traps, and how to find if it’s a good investment.

I have over 12 years in B2B sales/sales management experience along with a graduate degree. I am wanting to shift gears and I am at a point where I can invest time in myself to learn through practical experience. The new industry I am wanting to pursue is real estate investment. I have read all the books but want some hands on experience on the property management side. How could I best leverage my skills for a role in this, and what should my expectations be for negotiation in compensation?

Thinking of dipping my toes into real estate and wanted to see if anyone has any books/ podcasts/ courses or even any tips or advice that you wish you had when you got started?

Goal is to diversify my investments past the stock market. Any help is appreciated!

Fairly new to investing. For folks that have been in the game for quite some time, what sort of information do you look for in determining whether a company is a good investment or not, whether the price point is high or there’s still room to run, etc. If someone said ABC is a good investment, when doing your DD, what do you look for and why? Any links or books/courses you’ve used would also be appreciated.

Hi All...can anyone tell me how to add parentheses to a Page name on FaceBook. Our client is a pharma company and the Page needs to have the generic in the parentheses in the name. Anyone??

I want to get back into social strategy after six year break. I did paid and organic strategy and analytics, in house and agency for eight years before I moved. I know six years is a forever in social. Paid insta wasn’t even a thing when I left. My current company farms all social out to agencies so I can’t internal transfer. Currently working in omni channel campaign integration, but i own the brick and mortar channel. Zero digital action. Any suggestions on how to make this transition?

What is a reasonable % of client revenue as an origination fee for an associate?
Context: corporate transactional associate at a South Florida boutique. Brought 3-4 clients this year and there is no written policy re associate origination fees (I might have misheard 50% of client revenue). Randomly received an email stating that I would be paid 10% of client revenue which is disappointing, especially considering that I handled all of these matters by myself. Should I show some resistance?
