Tulane or Southern Methodist University? Pls share any valuable opinions!

Considering a graduate degree and looking to get the most from an alumni network. Fully covered tuition from either so these are the only 2 I’m considering. Currently in tech, considering careers in venture, entrepreneurship, tech leadership.

Although Tulane has a higher ranking, SMU has some really good notable alum, so I find myself conflicted 😵‍💫

Is it worth for me to get a masters (non-MBA) for Cambridge / Oxford after 3-4 YOE? Currently have an offer for Master of Bioscience Enterprise at Cambridge but not sure how helpful it can be for future opportunities.

Do you think culinary school is worth it? I've been a waiter for a year but really want to be a chef. The people I work with say to just start in the kitchen and work my way up but I think culinary school might get me where I want to be faster. The cost is pretty insane though. Any advice?

Associate at an AmLaw 100 firm doing patent work. I applied to a part time masters program to try to pivot to a different technical field (still doing patent work, but in something that interests me more than what I’m doing now). Do I try to stick it out at the firm while getting the masters, ask for a reduced hours schedule, or get a part time, non-legal job so I can focus more on the program (one year).

Assuming I get into CBS/Wharton, is there that much of a difference between them to forgo scholarship money? I work in a public school setting and am allergic to citrus. My district has stated that it is too much trouble to accommodate me. I carry an Epipen and have an anaphylaxis reaction to being exposed to citrus. My district is not accepting my doctor note. They think I am exaggerating and refuse to limit citrus fruits on my campus. An HR meeting concluded that I was required to work through it/use the emergency response team if I have “an issue”.
