I'm not understanding this. I am about to separate as well so I'm curious what you mean. I don't think it will impact me since I only have about 90 hours saved up. But I'm curious.

I get 120 hours of vacation.. i was out on leave for 2 months. If i charged 152 hours how can i have 16 hours carry over. These fuckers are getting on my nerves!
Katinthehat.. thing is.. i didn't take 152 hours of vacation.. i took 120 of my vacation and 40 of ado. Total of 160 hours. In the 152 they have towards vacation is all coded yowards vacation. Which means that they should owe me 32 hours.. not me owe them. They are stating that i took 32 extra hours of vacation last year which i didn't and those 32 hours are from the days i accrued for this year. In essence they are saying i used 32 extra hours last year so that they don't have to pay me.
EY does not pay you for carry over vacation. They only pay for current vacatiin days accrued. If i used 152 hours.. it would mean i used hours from this year. However their system is saying that i have 16 hours over carry over from last year. I can not have used 32 extra hours of this years accru3d time and have 16 hours carried over from last year. What sense does that make.
Sorry OP I misunderstood. Thought you were complaining about system recording it wrong. If they owe it to you - fight tooth and nail, print out copies of your time sheets/etc and keep bothering HR. Once they understand you won't let it go, they will likely cave in and rectify their mistake. Good luck!
