Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.

Hi,
My last working day was 11th Nov and I submitted my asset to TCS location and got the Initial release letter as well. Later on 17th or 18th of Nov, I got a message from TCS that they have sent the Packing material through Vendor, please accept it.
I didn't accept the material and cancelled it when the delivery boy came to my location.
So, is it going to create any problem in getting reliving letter? Share your thought please

My understanding is that they cannot legally force you to show proof of pay. Even though it is unethical, they can legally ask for proof and deny your application if you refuse to show proof of salary. Anyways, from past experience I can tell you it’s best to stay away from companies and HR departments that base offers from the employee’s past salary. It shows they have no interests in remaining competitive as an employer and retaining their employees.
