Might be outdated info but from what I heard Prince2 is more popular in UK/Europe vs the PMP in the US.
Prince2 is good, but King2 is better.
Prince2 a staple project management qual in the uk, so a good one to have (a little debatable how useful it is in practice though). PMI or APM (association of project management) both also offer certs which may be less well known but would still be respected.
Lots of focus on agile at the moment as well (as in most place) so scrum/ some other agile fundamentals would be very well worth having (almost more than the traditional pm ones I think)
I'd probs go prince2 and scrum, so you've got one more traditional but also some agile grounding
