Very person and office specific I’d say just treat it like a normal conversation, with some structure added.
If you’re recruiting for a specific practice, then the interviewers will be from that practice and they may tailor the cases to the subject matter. But the role isn’t super senior, so they won’t differ tremendously from on campus cases
My case is more interviewer led I guess. But we don’t have a command and control system. So interviewers have latitude to pick their case within some parameters
Our interviews are pretty standard cases for graduate entry - or are you going straight into a practice?
Are you coming in as experienced hire? Also for what level? I was told no experienced hire recruiting until Q4 🤨
Agreed — need more info. In general I’d say our cases are less susceptible to standard frameworks you might see in prep books and require you to really think about the problem. But that’s about it
Im an experienced hire recruiting at the senior consultant level, for a specific practice. OW 1/2 would greatly appreciate if you expanded on the difference b/w campus and experience hire recruiting and if industry specific cases are likely?

Be ready for a presentation case.
OW3 do all final rounds have a presentation case?
I don’t think so. This is something we are experimenting with. So very much depends.
Is OW very selective with candidates? Been thinking about applying but have no idea if I would even get an interview. 2 years FP&A and 3 consulting.
Yes we are selective insofar as we demand quality, but we aren’t ‘elitist’ in the sense that we don’t demand a specific university or work background. If you’re super smart, we’ll gladly have you on our team!
Fair to say OW cases are interviewer lead correct?
What does ‘interviewer lead’ mean?
Sorry...Interviewer led vs . interviewee led (who steers the direction of the case)
Echo what OW2/3 have said. Where work / university background is important is getting to interview - once you made it past that I wouldn’t worry about it anymore.
Thanks for the feedback OW folks. I have a good idea on comp, any thoughts on expected signing bonus for SC?
Hey interviewing with an OW practice. OP any update on your experience? (Hope you got it!)
