That's a miserable situation to be in. There's nothing more frustrating than having someone else's incompetence impact your ability to do your job, even more so when they're unpleasant and belittling to boot. There's that saying that goes "people don't quit jobs, they quit managers" which I completely agree with here. I don't think I'd have the patience to continue dealing with that kind of person.
I'm running out of patience. If it wasn't for the fact I need this job because I live paycheck to paycheck, I would have quit by now. Management treats us horribly, it doesn't help that the nurses look down on us and think we're unintelligent because we're 'just schedulers', and management won't stand up for us when the office managers complain about us following protocol and the patient gets mad at the office staff. It's a whole mess.

Can you look for a new job?
I wish I could. But I'm without a degree, so that immediately crosses off almost anything not involving customer service. Nor are other places willing to pay me what I make now, and insurance isn't as good. I've applied to numerous places with no responses in return.

Yikes! It’s one thing to have things going on at home and another to treat people badly and drop the ball at their job. Hope it gets addressed!

I get your frustration, especially when it feels like your manager isn’t holding up their end. Balancing work and home life can be tough, especially while working from home, but it’s still important for managers to lead by example. It sounds like you’ve been patient and tried addressing it the right way, but maybe a direct conversation about how it’s affecting the team could help. They might be unaware of the full impact. Still, you shouldn’t have to carry the burden of poor management.
I want to do this so bad, but I'm so scared of losing my job because I can see them getting offended by my concerns. I have spoken with other coworkers who have expressed concerns, but none of us know how to approach because we know we'll hear 'you're not managament.' You're right, we aren't. But I'm not especially because even though I was promised a management position, it never came to fruition. So it's hard for me to feel bad for them when a lot of their issues they've brought on themselves.
