We are trying to up our hiring game. We are a large in-home caregiving company in 15 states and growing (1500 admin employees). Personally, I feel like it's an overall good culture: hardworking but caring.

Indeed seems to be the Wild West these days, and we are struggling to be seen or get qualified candidates. We offer a decent number of remote opportunities with no RTO mandate and lots of in-office options.

As a job seeker, what are some of the main green/red flags you look for?

I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?

Does anyone tell the truth in exit interviews? About to have mine and not sure whether to be honest about partners who were bullies, backwards culture, etc?

Any advice for asking for almost a 30-35% raise. I recently got an Office Manager position and I wanted to renegotiate my pay. It's a brand new location with branches nationwide. So for a few months I had to do everything myself since I was the only one in the office at this location. I did extremely well and everyone's told me I've been doing a great job.
