She has 2yrs exp as assistant manager in kvb bank and 4hrs carrier gap ( upsc preparation) . Now completed MBA in banking & Finance 2022 passed out in SRM univ Chennai.

Due to carrier gap and age factor, she is not getting a chance to prove her in interview.

I’ve been an attorney for only a few months, I’m in a very small firm and I’m working 50-60 hours a week. I had no experience in this field prior to coming here. After 2.5 months i was told i need to be hitting 40 hours a week in billables and make up the billables for the associate who is reviewing my work. I receive little to no training and I’ve been told to not ask questions but figure it out.
I feel like I’m slowly losing myself and my mental health is the worst it’s ever been….

Job sharing in professional services is becoming more common. Would it make sense to offer job sharing at the partner level? Benefits a) employee retention (including women 30+ that often choose family over Partner track), b) more available Partner spots which increases retention, c) work life balance, d) 2 vs 1 partner tapping into their network to sell, e) 50% comp but ideally 6 months off. Why wouldn’t it work? Trying to hear different perspectives for and against partner job sharing?

I am so upset rn. I will graduate this December but still haven’t got any offer. Recruiting process is gradually eating me away.
