What age would be considered too old to make a major career change? I just turned 40, and I’m thinking about making some meaningful changes. And honestly. I think switching up my career path would have the largest impact on my happiness and sense of purpose. But I’m worried starting fresh at 40 would put me at a disadvantage, especially if I find myself competing with younger professionals. Would I be crazy to start over from square one at 40?

Once when I was waiting tables, I had a guy pay me cash. The change was 45 cents, which I didn't give back to him because like who wants that. He then asked where the change was, and when I explained that I didn't give back the loose change, he made a big stink about how dollars and cents matter and didn't leave me a tip. He was a republican staffer on capitol hill.

Any law students have tips on meal planning? I don’t eat until super late at night after work & class (10pm) it’s hard to consistently find time to prep meals on the wkend bc it cuts into study time.

So I have a felony. I interviewed with a recruiter today who was super cheerful and nice. Once I disclosed my felony, which she already knew about since a friend referred me to her, she immediately stopped the interview and said she couldn’t in good faith move forward on my application given the nature of my offense. Pivoting away from Sales: I’ve been in sales positions for 15 years, and I’m just exhausted by the role (disputing commissions, arguing about deals, all of it).
