Is MJZ a union shop?
Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. Anything really technical where you spend most of your time coding/configuring/analyzing (actuary, software engineer, expert in a niche cloud platform, etc). The upside is these often have comp trajectories as good or better than many jobs where you have to talk to people a lot.
talking to people = career progression. if you're okay with not growing, then find company with a ton of old people and develop a niche there. by old people, I mean people who have worked at their company 15-30 years = proves good job stability and tolerable politics.
You are right, QA is a good option. There is lot of test automation so you may want to learn some automation tools. Other areas are RPA, data analytics, technical writing, production support/operations. I was an introvert in my earlier career but grew out of it. Read the book Quiet, it is a good read
How did you grow out of it? Just with years of having to socialize at work? But thank you for the suggestions. Quiet is definitely on my list!
