Turo is cool but definitely not that cheap or convenient. With a Corp code full size from Avis or Hertz is like $30/day with all taxes and insurance and prenegotiated gas refill. You don’t get anything from Turo for that price, especially because the rates don’t include insurance. Even if you’re willing to chance it that your credit card will cover the car, it’s not worth it for convenience since you need to coordinate with another human picking up and dropping off the car. All I want to do is leave it at the terminal and walk away.
Turo is good if you need to rent a pickup truck in the city where you live but not worth the hassle for most travel. If you want to stray from the main ones, do Silvercar. Brand new Audi every time
Skip Avis and rent from Turo. Avis points are worthless anyways. Cheaper and cooler cars with curbside delivery to your terminal. Rented Alfa's, BMWs for the price of a full size.
Pres circle. Gotten the Cadillac CTS a few times, a challenger, and that’s pretty much it there
Thanks everyone! No German cars here?
