HSA. Triple tax advantaged! Easy but effective.

Yes, HSAs. Roth, Roth, Roth, every year until you retire. ETFs for taxable accounts for tax efficiency. Harvest tax losses towards end of year in taxable accounts if you have them (repurchase after 31 days if you still like the stock).

How does ETF offer tax efficiency ?

How is charity donation helpful if you are not itemizing?

How do you handle handoff/transition before going on maternity leave? I will be going on maternity leave in 3 months and need to put together a transition plan so that someone can take care of my work while I am out. I want to make sure nothing falls through the crack but at the same time don’t want to train someone to do 100% of my job - that would make my role redundant if someone can just take over right? Plus the company is going through restructuring now too. How would you handle this?

I’m a single parent of a young child so I’m trying to minimize the time I won’t be able to work full time due to school and also ensure I’ll have a livable wage upon completion. I'm in desperate need of tips to get genuine buy in from our predominantly white, male senior leadership to create a more inclusive environment. As is often the case, middle management and below is very diverse and then at Director+ it gets much more homogeneous. So far any real initiatives get shot down in favor of performative actions to post on SM. Is this just how it is, or can we try something different?
