1. What do I want to do after the mba?
2. Can I shoulder the debt?
3. Do I have the time and energy necessary to make my profile competitive for a top MBA?
4. Is this relevant to my career?
After thinking about the above, I said no to an MBA (at least for now)
What are your life goals? What are your career goals? Does the MBA give me the information I need to pursue those?
In contrast to getting a very expensive piece of paper to get a promotion in a company you are not thrilled about.

MBA is a massive waste of time and money if you already have an undergrad business degree. UNLESS you get into a top 5 school for the network. Otherwise spending that time working will end up giving you the same advantage if not a bigger one depending if you want to stay at the same firm / industry
Or if you like your firm and way to stay long term and they will sponsor then that’s a great option. Paying independently is just hard to justify especially when you’re not making for several years. Just digs a deeper hole
