I bought a massage gun and it was a game changer. I used the massage gun to get the knots out, and now I use it after injections to avoid getting knots. I was already warming the oil, using a heating pad, massaging after, walking after - and still getting knots too! I’m telling you, worth every penny. No more knots in my butt!!
Amazon here I come! Thank you so much!

If you haven’t done these already, start doing them and see if it helps. Warm the syringe under your arm for a few minutes before injection, so that the oil doesn’t clog. Rub your injection area for a few minutes after injection, so the oil doesn’t clog. Maybe ask the nurse to make sure that you are doing it at the right spot.
I would put the syringe in my bra or wrap it in a heating pad to warm it up. Then immediately after injection my partner would rub the area (pretty hard, it would hurt) to try and break up the oil. Then after that I would put a heating pad or warm compress on the area.

Don’t you mean warm the vial? The syringe has a massive needle and I wouldn’t want it anywhere near my underarm 😂
I warm up the syringe with the needle (with the cap on, of course!) inside a heating pad right before. It does seem to make a difference a bit. I struggle a lot of the knots too, and we've tried lots of different tips and tricks.
Sit on warm heating pad after
Massage the spot after (I used a foam roller or a lacrosse ball)
Try to vary sites as much as possible
But honestly I also ate ice cream and cried some nights because it just hurt.
I do warm up the oil and hubby massages but there’s two knots that won’t go away.
Get synera patches to ease the shot going in. Then I actually did PT and the Graston method a couple times with the Pt to get the stubborn knots out.
I had my husband rub the spots for 15-25 min after each shot. It took time but really helped with the knots. I also warmed up the oil, and sat on a heating pad after rubbing the spot. Walking around a bit after can help too.
Please buy the autoinjector, it goes so deep that for some reason it avoided the knots…and it hurts less. Also, always warm it up before injecting :)

Using a massage gun help!
