What happen to your PTO unused if you leave? If you have 8 hours, how much will you be paid?

For EY folks, use this calc: ((Salary / 2080) * 8) * 0

funnylikehelpful

To make myself feel better I use:

(1,000,000,000 / 2080) but, well, you know.

smart

( Salary / 2080 ) * 8

It’s honestly painful to read the ineptitude from the OP.

8*3000=4300

Just curious where you’d get the 2080

Are you serious that you don’t know that 52 weeks * 8 hours/day = 2080?

I think I’ve found a new interview question.

Maybe you’d prefer if they divided your salary by the total hours reported on your timesheet for the prior year and applied that hourly rate to the unused vacation time.

Deloitte pays out all unused PTO when you leave at your current salary rate.

I accepted a new job, they said PTO was “generous.” I find out it’s 19 days a year of PTO (which includes sick days). I have two young children and we like to vacation 1-2x a year (no more than a few days away each time). Am I crazy that this is pretty limited time off? 8 of the normal holidays off during the year (working the week between Christmas and NYE). Thoughts? I dont know if lack of PTO is a good reason to back out, is it?

I’ve been a family caregiver for four years, and now look to return to the workforce. I realize that this will be a bit difficult, especially during these economic conditions, plus other factors, such as being an older employee, etc. I updated my account with a few job sites, adding on the fact that I took time off to care for a family member. I would appreciate some advice, anything that would be helpful.

hello! I’m looking to get some insight to see if I’m being paid fairly for where I’m at in my career. I’ve worked at the same company for 2.5 years. This is my first job out of college. Started as an HR Admin, basically in a call center for all HR related inquiries and now am a Sr Admin assisting with escalations, interviewing, training new hires, supporting my team, scheduling, keeping track of stats- phone calls, tickets resolved, etc. I’m making $52k per year and work remote out of MA.

Losing two key accounts. Layoffs look pretty much inevitable. Any agencies hiring a Project Manager in the LA/OC area?

I'm feeling a lot of anger towards my manager (now he's acting normal but there were moments where he was condescending/dismissive/mocked my and others work/arrogant/said stuff was "wrong" constantly/belittling the difficulty of tasks etc. in the past project).
Maybe it is "standard chewing out" but it bothered me a lot. So much that I find myself still getting all fired up inside thinking about it...
Idk how to let go of this :/ Thoughts?

What if in case I have LTA bill which is exceeding x amount itself, do I need to raise reimbursement request every month th with same bill?
