Finished interviewing for an ATS role at Microsoft Wednesday. The interviewers said they were recommending me but I haven’t gotten any feedback from the recruiter. I’m at PwC S& and in consulting I always got at least a verbal yes day of or next day after interviewing. Does anyone know how long this usually takes? Do you get a verbal first or do they wait to have a contract?
Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

I worked there years ago. Misogynist boys’ club. Hope it’s changed since then. Unless you’re a misogynist boy.
I worked there 4 years ago. First job ever I’ve quit after 3 months. Never regretted it
Ditto everything said here. Putting aside the nonstop incidents of inappropriate behavior from senior managers that they’ve swept under the rug, the leadership there just isn’t very good at making quality work. Plain and simple, they’re not doing best-in-class creative or strategy.
It is very team dependent. Your team will dictate your overall experience at work. I think there's a lot of work that needs to be done from HR & Leadership's side. More so, French owned companies are some how conservative, so you have to really fight for your salary.
Most of the teams work on mainly 1 account. Though being part of Publicis is a bonus if you know how to leverage it whenever you decide to change agencies. Remember that this company is a perfect liaison to the many sister companies & agencies that it owns.
Use this to your advantage by being proactive and by connecting with other teams from other "groupes" (such as Publicis Media, Publicis Communication, Publicis Health, and Publicis Sapiens) and their agencies (Digitas, Leo brunette, Sparl Foundry, and much more).
It is a good place to work in if you want experience in big accounts and fast paced environment.
Of course there needs to be an opening to move into, but it is do-able - I’ve done it!
