I’m think about Hogan
What certification program is this?
I have both a PHR and SHRM-CP and my take is it depends on what you are going for. PHR is more HR foundational knowledge focused and the SHRM certifications make a much more explicit connection of HR to the business.
I’m considering the SPHR certification over the SHRM-SCP. From my understanding in asking a few others, SPHR is well known and on more job descriptions but curious to get others opinions.
SPHR has been around longer and is definitely more well known
I’m considering PHR certification. I’ve been told by many that more companies recognize it more than SHRM but that SHRM gives you a wider array of knowledge. Will be starting a CDP (Certified Diversity Professional) program soon bc I mainly work with ERGs and diversity metrics.
