What is the best thing to do when project has unrealistic expectations (way too much work)? Work/life balance considerations aside(there is none), main concern is lowered work quality.

A client developer group just told me they reached terms to “buy equity in a lease.” From what they’ve told me, if we were setting this up fresh, I’d do a new LLC and easily handle capital contributions, buy-sell, etc. in the new LLC agreement. However, here the partner had a long-term lease on the underlying RE that our group wants to develop as a concept. Lease assignment to new LLC is dicey, but I’m thinking maybe we set up a Mgmt services company to contract w/ the partner-tenant entity?

Are post-MBA exits from MBB actually as good or easy as they’re perceived to be? It seems like everyone is walking out for 15-30% (or more) TC bump, with better WLB at great companies - is it really as easy as just sliding right into places like FAANG and whatnot? I’ve only been FT freelancing for about year and haven’t ever freelanced during a recession. Is anyone else a little anxious about what’s to come in the next couple of years and what that means for us? Are company FT cut backs typically good for freelancers?

This is my third year living in New York! I think something that I wish I knew earlier was the size and ease of transportation from some areas. I would personally recommend looking for living in boroughs like - Brooklyn -Queens -Bronx Some areas in these boroughs are way lower in rent than Manhattan and could easily get you to your job with one train ride. A commute may help you save thousands a year. This hopefully could get you paying your own mortgage instead of rent

I had been interviewing with a product company. Cleared technical rounds and hr round as well. After that a manager discussion was held. After this hr stopped responding. After multiple calls, he responded saying we are also interview in other candidates . It was so frustrating . They should have completed all interviews before hr discussion and salary discussions. Really felt horrible today.
