Hello guys.. What will be in hand salary in TCS at 25 LPA after tax and PF deduction. I am not able to calculate as they have monthly and quarterly performance pay and performance bonus. I have retention incentive of 1Lakh.

This general strike talk has really got me re-evaluating my whole career. I can’t complain about compensation, I’m paid well, I have benefits, and I have a roof over my head. But the work life balance and unsustainable productivity expectations that have been created by agencies that won’t say no to clients needs to change. We place/create ads to turn millionaires into billionaires while we’re treated terribly. Something’s gotta give. I don’t know a single person who isn’t burnt out right now

If a job tells you the base salary range for a position is $95k to $110k, how much more can you realistically ask for? Does anyone have an experience where they negotiated a salary over the initial salary range max?

I have my bachelor’s degree in accounting and have 4 years experience. Just curious if 60k with no bonuses is too low for a tax job?

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. Talk me off a ledge!!! I had an interview with one of the leading professional service firms that I won’t mention for an internal services Learning Manager role. (I’m a former employee from the consulting side) I had a first round interview, that from my perspective, I aced… I answered everything thoroughly, I was engaged with the interviewer…she stated my skills lined up perfectly with the role and that she wanted me to talk to her manager….15 min after the interview I get a no go email…ugh

Had an interview with KPMG (manager) for an FRM Consultant position about three weeks back, she mentioned that I'd be a great addition to the team and is excited to work with me but I haven't heard back anything since. On contacting HR I got the standard "we'll let you know" response.
What do you guys think? Any hopes for me? What do you think went wrong after a solid interview if no?

New Yorkers: What are you paying in rent these days? Im single in my late 20s making 155k and recently decided to finally get my own place w/o roommates. Paying $2600/mo (2300 net) for a studio. It's an elevator building in Manhattan with a concierge etc. Before this I was only paying 1200 with roommates. I am still trying to get used to justifying this price tag every month for something I dont own. 

I got laid off during Covid and pivoted to PM at FAANG and a partner is reaching out to me about rejoining. A part of me misses consulting but have the salty taste of my lay off experience.
