What is the most cost effective way to study for the exams? About to restart this process, but no longer have firm sponsored study program anymore. Was looking into Ninja considering the cost, but would like to see if anyone has any other advice or tips. Thanks.

Did you have becket before?

Call Becker and see if they will grandfather you into the new unlimited plan. That’s what I did.

Invest in yourself try Uworld (Roger) and buy if you like it

I’m looking through a variety of the popular programs but they’re all at least 1500. Looking to see if anyone has any alternatives besides the most well known ones.

I used Surgent, it was like half the price of Becker and I did much better on the exams when I worked with it.

I failed miserable with Becker a lot. I passed two sections and they expired. 2 years later I tried again passed AUD, FAR and BEC on the first tries and REG I had to take a 2nd time. I found surgent worked much better for me.

I bought I75. You can do monthly subscription
So far I like it but I haven't tested yet

I'm entering my final year of law school but am going part time since I work full time as a paralegal. I have been a paralegal for more 10+ years and I want to open my own firm after I pass the bar.

I've worked at a lot of different size firms including a startup with a few attorneys and I was able to help with a lot of the ground work with getting the practice management system in place and still do some of that now at my current firm. Has anyone done this right out of law school? Any advice?

Considering joining a small 50-person company as the only attorney (prior attorney is retiring). (I am currently in-house at a F50). For others who have done the same path, what surprises did you have when moving from a large company to a small one?

For example, it sounds like I should not expect a document management system, based on a prior post in this bowl. I’m guessing expenses like state bar fees and cell phone are not reimbursed.

Any advice on things to expect (or not expect)?
