Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

I feel this. My daughter was born during the pandemic so I’ve always worked from home and can’t image that not being the way our family functions. I’m always a little worried about the return to office potential.
I can relate. I quit my job during the pandemic because i wanted flexibility and I’ve been freelancing so I can pick up and drop off my daughter (3nd grade) but it’s been hard. I would love to find a full time role but like you said most jobs are no longer remote.
Same. I have a 3rd grader. It’s so important for me to pick her up at a reasonable time and show her she’s a priority for me. Constantly anxious about RTO
If there was a role at a company outside of your industry, but was remote and offered a salary that you needed, would you take it? Or do you feel compelled in some way to stick within your current industries?
