Want to find a new job, but seeing that most roles are moving away from remote and hybrid for most includes 4 days a week. Struggling because we've been ( my 3rd grader and I) so accustomed to me picking up and dropping off to school 2 days a week. But I'm so unhappy at my current job. Dreading this job hunt bc of how it will affect my life balance with my son 😔

Has anyone cheated on their partner, felt horrible from the guilt, confessed to them and then managed to still save the relationship? Or is cheating something no one gets over ever?

Working Moms/Dads: Do in-house positions exist with flex time hours? I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. Is this realistic to convey to any companies in an interview? Pandemic aside, is face time 9-7pm really important? Or should i just try to find a job with a salary that covers a nanny salary and accept that i will never see my son on weekdays (which would be sad for both of us)? TIA!

How do I work 55-60 hour weeks and have 50 percent utilization?

What do you do when you feel the goalpost has been/is being moved re: billable requirements? Like there's a spoken vs unspoken? I chose this job based on billables vs salary and what I'm being told I'm expected to do now is 20-30% (at least) > than what was initially agreed upon. Given my other life responsibilities, this is creating a huge strain & I feel like this is slowly getting harder & harder on my spouse & kids. I'm grateful to have lots of good work but not sure how to course correct.

I am an unmarried working man in his 30s with a southern mother. In other words I'm flying home for Christmas and my mother just called to tell me that she just happened to accidentally run into the sweetest girl from her church that she just knows I'll get along with and accidentally invited her to our house for dinner the night that I get home. Deadass the woman will not rest until I am tied down. Pray for me!

There are so many ways I could take the project but I’m curious what kind of outline and level of depth you expect from a project like this?
