AI and ML at full speed ahead. What about you?

AI is a focus for almost everyone right now from what I’m seeing.
I think there’s a lot more of a focus on geopolitical risk factors in orgs lately too, which is to be expected.

One biggie I've noticed lately is the whole digital transformation wave sweeping across industries like a tsunami. Everyone's racing to modernize their systems, embrace automation, and harness the power of data analytics to stay ahead of the curve.

So this dude asked me late last night if I wanted to call him and said he needed someone to talk to while working late..told me to let him know if I had a guy over then he’ll talk to someone else. I didn’t have a guy over and not that kind of person so why assume that? It pisses me off.

Recruiter for big tech company reached out on LinkedIn about a role. I asked about ballpark compensation numbers and they said they’re only comfortable sharing on a live call. Replied that I often receive LinkedIn offers for roles of paycuts around 30-50% so I want to make sure we’re in the same rough range. Recruiter again said she would only share via live call. Is this a red flag?

Hi sales engineers, I’m currently a cloud security engineer with a cybersecurity background. Currently a Solutions Consultant at Pegasystems.

I am interviewing at and considering making a jump to
Oracle as a Specialist Solutions Consultant.

The reason for my move is currently at Pega SCs are treated more as AEs or Account Managers. The role at Oracle would be more of a true SC position. I also feel that Oracle will look BETTER on a resume and someone as young as me would have BETTER programs in place to train me and give me the foundation needed to be a successful SC.

Thoughts?
