What would you do: I'm a data analyst embedded with a Data Science team. I do some data viz/analysis in python, know SQL, Business Objects/Excel. Databricks dev certified but no experience and picking up Qlik dashboarding as per client request. Should I try to get something with Databricks and go data engineering? Does dashboarding fit in or will I get pigeonholed?

Is it worth it to do a PhD in Statistics or Epidemiology or Health Informatics if I am interested in being a data science director in Pharma or a Health system? I am working remotely a a data scientist right now. I am plan on learning more ML models for now. However, is there a certain point where it makes sense to get a PhD?
