What’s everyone sport of choice? I’ve been running for ten years, and added cycling to the mix last year.

Started running a little before Covid hit. Haven’t looked back since. Training for my third half marathon before I take the leap and start training for a full 😬

Yeah I was watching videos from the NY marathon this year. It looked amazing

Running for me. I used to be a sprinter (100m, 200m) but have gotten into longer distances over the past 5-10 years.

Just coming off the NYC marathon, taking a break before ramping up for the Boston marathon, and then later in the year may think about Valencia marathon for a new PR (or if not Valencia, then maybe Chicago since I’ve got an entry for that anyway)

Terrible haha. I had a great training block and was in form to hit ~2:38, but blew up quite early in the race and ended up finishing in 2:59. In hindsight I definitely should have adjusted my goal (to maybe 2:48’ish?) given the weather conditions. Ah well, lesson learned 😊

Triathlon and running, although my speedy days are behind me

How were your triathlons? I'm thinking of trying one next year to mix things up, but need to be more confident in my open water swimming. Any suggestions for beginners?

Thank you for starting this bowl! I just turned 50. I had my one and only child at 41 and went straight into menopause. My symptoms were perhaps confused with postbpatrum and nursing hormone symptoms but bow my hair is dry and frizzy yet somehow also oily and my skin lacks luster and I gain weight so easily. Working from home for eight months has definitely hanged my body shape and not for the better!
