I ask people in meetings i’m leading to use the “raise hand” functionality if they want to speak. I start every meeting reminding them to use it
Explain it to them exactly as you've explained it here. Tell them you appreciate their passion and are glad they're engaged enough to have an opinion, but ask them to please be more mindful about how they bring these opinions to the forefront. Something as simple as requiring people to raise their hand and wait to be called on should suffice.
Hi! My advice is that don't be afraid to call out any instances of talking over you in a polite but firm manner. This will demonstrate that you are not afraid to stand up for yourself and that your opinion is just as important as anyone else's.
What worked for me was to practice active listening. I would make sure to acknowledge what everyone was saying and then add my own thoughts in. This helped show that I was truly engaged in the conversation.

Depending on the type of meeting may be helpful to set up an agenda with a dedicated time for questions.
When someone interrupts you during a meeting, try using active listening techniques to acknowledge their input while also asserting your point. For example, you can say, "I appreciate your input, and I would like to finish my thought first" or "Let me complete my point, and then I would be happy to hear your input."
If interruptions occur during a meeting, you can also follow up with the engineer(s) privately after the meeting. Express your concerns in a non-confrontational manner and ask for their cooperation in maintaining respectful communication during future meetings.
