Love how BS credit score is. Got my score up to 800 last month only to go on vacation so my credit utilization went up to 8% due to the increased spending and my score dropped 35 points because I didn’t immediately pay the balance after charging the purchases. I always pay my balance in full each month and have never missed a payment, how is 8% credit utilization determined to be that big of a risk that my score got immediately wrecked, I don’t understand

Has anyone just taken a break from work without anything lined up? Every offer I’ve gotten wants me to start in a month and with 2 weeks notice that leaves me only 2 weeks to recharge. For my mental health I really think I need an extended break (like 3 months). I have about 60k liquid to sustain myself and pay about $1500 a month in rent.

I have an offer for $130k for a senior attorney position in a boutique L&E firm. Also have a recruiter who thinks she can get me into another for $150-170k. I have been trying to figure out what to do after my graduation (BTech Mechanical engineering, in IIIT).

Right now, by God's grace(not neglecting the fact many lost jobs this year) I have 3 options.
1. LT infotech (5lpa, Chennai, IT)
2. Mondra (startup based in UK, 4lpa, Sustainable Technologies, WFH).
3. A farm robotics startup, which is going to come up and on the way to incubation in IIT-M. No income for now.
