Have a formal offer at Citi for 120K as an AVP in the NY office. Currently making 92K at my current role where I feel there’s not much room to grow anymore. Is this a fair offer? I currently WFH pretty much full time at my current role which has been amazing, but it seems like Citi would require me to be there 2-3 days in the office per week - and this is something I’m very hesitant about. Thoughts on how to approach this?

Wow. I came in at $81K, early promo to M1. SE / not McLean, but still... 👎🏻
Do you not have your CPA? Your base as an m1 should at least be 90k and likely closer to 100k especially in a relatively high COL area
Seems super low but not a manager so idk. I would have guessed 100 minimum as m1
I do agree with the last reply. It seems low. As a Sr 3, I’m at 92k base + 7.5k bonus
Also in McLean/Tyson audit, I am at 85 as a S3, so that does sound low, not a high performer, I’d imagine tier 1 or tier 3 S3s close to 90.
82k is bad. I was around 96k 3 years ago as an m1.
For DC area that sounds about right. If you don’t negotiate for more that’s about what they’ll shove in your face.
