I get 43 days off excluding holidays
I took every single day off last year.
Former gig at a PE firm only gave 10 days to start
I get 16 days of pto
3 weeks to start and builds to 4-5 weeks. This is PTO not holidays.
I get 3 weeks, 4 personal days, and unlimited sick days. My staff get 2 weeks (+personal and sick)
20 days + holidays. Unlimited sick time
Currently:
Holidays 10
Vacation 10 (max at 100% accrual)
Sick Time 5 (max at 100% accrual)
Past:
Holidays 14
Vacation 15 (unlimited accrual)
Sick Time Unlimited
Personal 4 (use it or lose it)
It really depends on what you can live with. I'm disappointed by my current company's policy and didn't realize it would be such a huge difference from my past job. Having fewer work holidays is upsetting. The largest gap between holidays is between NYE and Memorial Day.
The thing is, I now have a much better work-life than at my previous job. Vacations (as few as I have) are uninterrupted as is any time outside business hours.
In my past job, even with all the time off, I was expected to answer emails/calls anytime (during vacation, outside working hours, personal days). Holidays were the only time that my bosses and team mates all have off. Thereby, eliminating expectations and allowing us to take time off without worry.
Personally, I will make sure my next job has better time off benefits.
This is the dilemma I have. Currently at unlimited PTO and looking at somewhere that only has your current. I think it’s a deal breaker for me.
15 PTO days
6 holidays

I have 20 vacation days, 2 personal days and all the fed holidays so in a year I have like 33 days
