Hi guys! Looking to learn about real estate investing! I am a senior in college graduating with a degree in finance so I understand certain aspects, but am looking to learn more on my own about real estate specifically!

What books would you recommend I read?

I am starting personal investment now- please tell me if this plan looks good:
- Already have a 401k plan with max matching form my employer
- invest in 5000$ in S&P ETF
- invest 5000$ each in AAPL, AMZN, GOOGL,MSFT
- invest 1000$ each in Netflix, ADP and Home Depot
- invest 500$ each in Intel, Nike,Walmart and T-Mobile
- small amounts 100-500 in Merck, GE, Coca Cola , Altria and Samsung.

Thoughts? I plan to invest a little bit each month (200$) in ETF. Any suggestions?

If I pay off a HELOC balance in full, is there a chance my lender will close the credit line? I want to pay off my debt (which is subject to a variable interest rate and thus is becoming more expensive to service) with free cash, but I don’t want to lose access to the credit facility.

It means ICOs are no longer open to anyone. You have to be a certified investor with the SEC. This is why Filecoin is conducting their ICO with CoinList instead of on their own. Estimated tax payment question:
I converted $30k of rollover 401k into a Roth IRA and have $26k of realized ST Capital Gains this year (Roth conversion in end of Q1 and most capital gains in Q2).
My total federal withholding tax last year was approximately $12k and this year I will have 40% more in reported income on my employer W2 and anticipate higher that $12k federal withholding for my new job. Back in March I covered for an FA while they tried to hire him someone. It went on till May when the advisor said to me he liked my work and wanted me to be his CSA and he would pay me. I agreed we told mgmt and he started paying me as of June. Yesterday the advisor told me that the firm hired him someone 10 days ago. I was stunned because I thought I was his CSA per our agreement in May. His supplemental pays me about 10k a year total. Is it fair to expect my co. to pay the comp they took away?
