When a director is repped by a production company, does a director only earn money on a job by job basis, or are they on a salary?

CW salary at FB/Meta within the Creative X group? I keep seeing posts for copywriter positions that require 6 years of experience so I’m assuming even though they call it copywriter it’s more in line with senior / ACD agency salary.
