I gave 4 rounds of interview for Manager 1 but the final decision was that I am unable to raise the bar. The recruitment coordinator asked me if he can keep my details or share my details to his colleagues so that they can check if I fit in some other role in future. Any idea about the cool off period?Amazon
Thoughts? Are we also getting 9% raise?

I will be joining Oracle Financial Services Software(OFSS) and I am worried about job security considering the layoffs that will be happening in Oracle as per below link:

I'm not expecting much. They are already preparing us with the "gosh, the budget is just soooo tight right now" (despite talking about record profits only a month ago). Maybe 2% if we are lucky.

That's so frustrating! At my job it's promotions all around for the higher ups, but not much for us worker bees.
I’ve heard from a manager I trust between 2-3%, which will likely include promotions. Financial services.
Ours is in March too. I’m hoping for a 3% merit increase. Our biggest worry is the bonus given the current economy. I’m not complaining. Grateful to still collect a paycheck.
