Cushman & Wakefield Interested in a Sales Associate position at Cushman & Wakefield. I have experience as a government analyst for 7 years but nothing related to commercial real estate. I want to become a more competitive applicant but not sure where to start. Are there any certificates, skills, or knowledge that I should be learning in my free time?

Just casually start looking. No pressure, no rush. An interview "doctors appointment" here and there. Let what's right come to you.
You probably will. But it builds character
Always be looking and taking interviews. Even if you’re satisfied with your position, it keeps you sharp and knowing what’s out there.
Hopping from “frying pan into the fire” is always a concern, but if you start looking while still employed at your current position you’ll have the confidence to ask the hard questions to determine if the next move is potentially toxic or not. Much better than being in a terrible position and having to rush into something you haven’t properly vetted. Good luck
Try and reach out to people at the agencies you're interested in. Share your current situation and ask how theirs compares
