If you tell the coaches about your nagging injury, they’ll be able to help you scale workouts that engage that area. But, not going to lie, most of the WODs utilize the shoulders in one way or another. Regardless, would never deter anyone from participating. Despite the nay-sayers, it’s hands down one of the greatest sports out there
thanks BBDO! I live near one of the top boxes in the country - want to give it a try, but yeah - I see the workouts and it’s filled with jerks and presses and snatches and cleans.
Which box?
Too much variability in knowledge and experience of the “coaches” at CF gyms that now I stay far far away. I prefer to go to places that have trainers that have been certified by nationally recognized organizations, not a 16-hr course
