I recently heard that cravings are just like feelings. They are fleeting things that we can feel, but they move through us. I have been trying to see it that way. Just like anger or anything else it eventually fades and moves on. I also keep replaying the agony of trying to exist, hungover every day. Trying to lead, trying to ideate, get dressed, not look red faced, bad client feedback, internal interactions - it’s all way worse when you’re hungover. We are here!
Truth. I wish I could pull up my agency email-all list from ten years ago and send a mass apology. 😂. TBH I wasn’t even craving alcohol. Just to feel better. Which in the past when in my disease is what I was trying to saceive by the wrong means.
