Weighing whether another year of IB experience would be helpful, or would just make me one year older at the same starting point in PE.
I’m 1.5 years out of college as an analyst at a middle market bank within the healthcare M&A group. Getting worked a lot but starting to operate as an associate on deals. Debating accepting an offer for a newer, lower-MM healthcare and growth focused PE firm. I know I want to go to PE at some point, but what are some thoughts on when you should go?

How do you handle remote teams being in different time zones? Right now we have a ton of team leaders on the west coast with the core team on the east coast and because of that urgent requests keep coming down after hours with the expectation to address it immediately. So at this point we’re working from 8am until like 11pm and nobody knows what to do to push back on it

I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. I technically can make bonuses but I’m not supposed to dig into a sale and I have to send it to a sales rep (I am service and retention mostly). I have a question, I got a contract role through a recruiter. Initially the recruiter offered the hourly pay rate which was the minimum in my range. Now I got an offer from the company. Now without me asking her she increased the hourly wage to the maximum range I asked. Which makes me doubt if the company increased it or she knew the rate all along but gave me the lower rate ?
