Bain & Company Atlanta people! I’m in the process of applying for MBA programs and wanted to ask what recruiting is like for MBB from Emorys program? Is there a reasonable shot at getting into the Atlanta office from Emory, or are those openings primarily filled by other schools (Duke, UVA, etc.)

Bain & Company I received an offer to join Bain & Company for SF office but due to family reasons, I will have to stay in the South Bay. Given Bain’s local staffing model, it will be challenging for me to commute to SF and back. Is it possible to be transferred to the palo alto office/is that office fully functioning or does it mainly serve as a hub for partners and research?

Why do you think people would disclose this to you on a public platform
1. Bain
2. McK
3. BCG
Experience is if a PE engages T2 it’s just to get a number. Final analysis is MBB. Many times PE firms will have Bain work on a problem then Mck do the same or the other way around. All of it is to compare the numbers or get them the numbers they want
Us by value.
Bain is largest by revenue for sure
Besides a few small instances, each of them prob have a much larger SOW with each MF account than S&. That’s the plain answer.
That’s nothing against strategy&. But there’s an entire segment of the PE engagements that never gets to tier 2s. Not even a look / pitch.
