I am being asked to move to Richmond, VA for Sr. Mgr. Supply Chain Analytics role in an organization that is dire need of help.

I am currently at 146k TC, they are offering 190k TC.

I originally wanted a director level role to set the strategy, process, and tools.

Instead I am just being asked to develop the tools.

My hypothesis is a clear lack of strategy and no accountability for process compliance will mean any tools developed will fail.

Would you take job in those circumstances?

8+ yoe,Project mgmt Domain - I have been working on different roles in PM domain ( Pm, PMO, Business mgmt etc) and recently switched to Scrum master. Hi, I’m trying to figure out my long-term career path. I’ve worked in IA for most of my career. I recently got my CPA, and re-entered the work force after a 13 year break. Got back in as a Sr IA. Not sure what my options are in the long run with my background. Suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Do you see substantial gaps between internal auditing outcomes on one side, and expectations of stakeholders on another side?

Would it be difficult to get a job in IA if most of my experience has been auditing private non-404 asset mgmt funds? I really enjoy process walkthroughs when I have them though. Also, does title matter that much in IA? I’m a manager now, but based on job descriptions it looks like I might have to go for a senior auditor role because audit manager roles generally call for 8+ years from what I’m seeing. Can title be negotiated?

Does anyone feel like going into internal audit has pigeonholed them in IA? Trying to decide to leave public for IA but I would like the option to go back to an accounting role if I want.

I want to make sure where I go I have good opportunities to advance and if needed be marketable to other companies. Do you think internal audit makes you more or less marketable to other opportunities in the future?
