We use Fishbowl. More billable hours .
We use Trivago.
There are massive security issues with slack. People are finding their way into company info via slack. We loved it, but had to abandon it.
Its AIM repackaged.

R/GA runs on slack. We even have a bot in it that books rooms, gives us employee directory info, and shares cafe menu for the day. Not sure how we functioned without it before.
When we had it, I spent most of my day sending inappropriate GIFs to people whose computers were being used in presentations. Needless to say, they took it away.
We have yammer and lync. What makes slack different?
👆Said the guy who was at the meeting with DTJr.
I wish. We have to use Skype for Business.
We've moved to teams/Skype for business....relucantly. most of the creatives use slack..but with no history for the cya
Could someone coherently explain what Slack does that Skype and email doesn't?
We have Lync, but everyone hates it- considering your messages disappear from time to time. 🙄
@CD1 Slack feels easier and more intuitive to chat one to many, Skype feels built for, and limited to, one to one. Email ain't chat. It also makes cross-office connections wayyy more serendipitous.
Slack is great if it isn't abused. Too many people waste too much time in interest groups. And as a creative, account management has the nasty habit of going to me directly vs. communicating through my PM so my work load is often doubled.
We do! Though not sure if Ogilvy as a whole has a license or just my team
We use Jabber. It's dog shit.
Slack is so much different than instant messenger apps though. Its more like a series of chat rooms, like AIM in the early 2000s!
We are trying to get it going. We use Skype for Business/Lynch for IM
We don't - still on Skype for Business, but I'd like to see us switch to Slack someday.
