Woah holy shit you all are underpaid
Audit miami started at 51k, 5.5% increase to staff 2, 9.5% increase to senior 1. Not even breaking 60k yet.... yes sorta disappointed
^ markets you guys are comparing to?
Lol, so glad I got out when I did. I make as much as Senior 2s in the NYC area and I left as a staff 2
To each their own SFA 1. You’re making more now but those in industry tend to stay where they are for several years while those in public get steadier raises/promos and increasingly better exit opps. Nothing wrong with getting out if you hate it, but there’s a reason people stay as well.
What is it ...
I am waiting for my comp call however all my friends are around that 8-9% range and some even way below. So some aren't even making 67K. I have good ratings however I am not too hopeful seeing all this.
Oof
Senior financial analyst 1, how difficult was it for you to find a SFA role with 2 years of exp? I'm about 1 month away from promo doing FS audits. Im thinking about doing the same thing but would like some insight on the process.
Deloitte 2, how long ago was this Senior@promotion? Assume it wasn't this year since we haven't had comp calls yet
Five years in public is a good thing. At that point, you'll have audited all FSLIs at least once and will have encountered several different revenue and inventory scenarios, as well as more technical areas like tax and business combinations. It will position you for flexibility and success. Anything less and you'll make one hell of a payroll manager for the next 30 years.
To be honest which is why I was waiting for this promotion. It opens up a lot of opportunity. You would definitely learn way more in audit in 2 years than your peers in the industry.
@Deloitte 3 a lot of people have had their comp call already at my office.
I think it may depend if you are Deloitte advisory vs Deloitte Audit
