Just joined S&C from 8 YOE in industry. Joined as M1, but was also a manager in former industry role. How soon is reasonable to be thinking about promotion Senior Manager? What kind of salary increase comes with this promotion?

Also, I negotiated current salary when the offer came 5 months ago now, not taking into account high increases in inflation. Do salaries get adjusted for inflation? And if so, when?

Does salary increase year on year at C level in S&C? And what is the salary bracket for M level in S&C?

I work for an ins. Company for 3 years as a case manager. I started at 70k, and have met goals and performed well, meeting all expectations required. I now only make around 75k. Was interviewing with a firm and soon after receiving an offer, learned of bad culture/toxic partners in the practice group from a couple of associates who recently lateraled from the firm. I turned the offer down. A partner that I clicked with while interviewing reached out asking me why I turned down the offer. Should I be honest and relay what I heard?

What can a junior associate do about a mid-level that constantly asks questions about things they were cc’d on, sends dozens of piecemeal emails and is generally just super high strung and needs everything right away??
