2 dudes in my practice have done 2-2-2 (6 years total) to director. Kid I work with now is on track for 2-2 to manager, told me he's expecting $130k-140k. He'll be a 25 year old a manager for a couple of days since his birthday is in October. He's was also young for his grade in High School.
I will pick a female over a male on my engagements 9/10 times. They are more motivated and I've noticed that our (primarily middle aged male) clients tend to be more attentive to them. It's unbelievable that wage gaps still exists.
Side notes: I'm a male. Sorry to hijack the thread.
5-6 years if you're on track I guess?
Okay I think it's the same for us. But idk about that salary.
Damn, P1. NYC? MBA?
@D1 yup. Finished MBA after undergrad
I need to so get out of this business. Clearly not a right fit for me.
People progress at their own pace...as long as it's within the confines of the up or out time limits. If you haven't been "counseled out", you're doing just fine.
I'm 25, 130K
26, 132k base salary
Hahah way to make this about gender issues
I smell a class action
P1 how many years does it usually take to hit manager at PWC if you are starting right out of college?
Like if we'd hit that number
ATK, u graduate at 18?? If anything u finished MBA at 24ish how'd u make manager so fast??
I figured since y'all all have an idea of how little I make, then I couldn't be a dick 😬
I'll be 30 when I make consultant (equivalent to SC) gonna try and bounce to an industry manager job in hopes of catching up hahamaybe come back as SM at 33
🐂💩
That's fucked up
Not too out of range for my group to be honest, but yeah pretty sure my male counterparts are being paid more. I did shift to manager at age 27 though, so I'm still pretty proud of that.
I know a male manager making 110, first year...some ppl jus start low bc they didn't negotiate or had shitty recruiters
Acn3, that's great! It makes sense that those who climb quickly typically have lower salaries...for obvious reasons
