Hi everyone!
Debating between an offer from 200 employee company vs Zoom (the company).
The smaller company has good benefits, great wlb and a great culture per Glassdoor reviews. But its an HR software and not easy to sell.
Compensation is similar.
Never worked in a big company like zoom before, what are the pros, and the drawbacks?

Product Management at a large bank vs Business Analytics/S&O for FAANG? Recently started in the former role, but have interview calls for the latter just come up in my mailbox. Similar comp when adjusted for the different job locations. Can anyone help me with the Pros and Cons please. I know the roles are different, and so are the industries, need to understand difference career paths and difference in corporate cultures. JPMorgan Chase Google LinkedIn Citi

Not really much of a difference between the two. I’d go Willkie.

Id go Willkie

Both firms are great. Willkie is just kind of a rare firm that can be great for associates and the people are notably personable (not a sharp elbows environment). They do both the top tier market work thats sexy and cool as well as a ton of scrappy middle market stuff where there is less over reliance on "agreed form documents" - leaving room for lawyering.
The firm has also been in major strategic growth mode for the last several years and is rising in all their (already high) "rankings."

I would say they’re neck and neck. They’re both respected and you can’t go wrong with either.
My impression is that Debevoise works their associates harder though.

Debevoise is better between the two, but they are both in the second (and Willkie arguably third) tier of firms in NY
Debevoise has corporate?
The joke is that they don’t do corporate/transactional, but you’re clearly a law student making decisions so it took the fun out of it
I wouldn’t touch Debevoise with a ten foot pole. All of the most toxic, insane law students from my class went there. Literally every single one, I don’t know how they select for that.
A couple of nice classmates did too but the minority. Devil’s advocate, maybe it’s easy to stand out there?
Debeboise has a much better rep in the market and their associates do better in the inhouse market. Much harder to make partner. It isn’t really a close one on paper, but go with your gut. Willkie is also a great firm, you can have a great career there or coming from there

But what about Debevoise?
Debevoise corporate is suffering. Key rainmakers have left recently. Litigation is still going well though.
