Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

I dragged out this exam for years. If you have 6 weeks you can squeeze out one test. It depends what industry you’re in.
If you are in tax, you have plenty of time to get an exam in before busy season
Depends on what your busy season looks like. If you're working 70-80 hours a week, don't bother. If you're doing 55-60 hours a week you can make it work if you're not commuting, but it won't be fun. I studied for AUD last winter and I would study before work from 7am-9am and then work from 9am-10pm with breaks for lunch, gym, and dinner. I recommend studying first thing in the morning though because no one will bother you and you'll likely be too exhausted to study after a long day.
Trust me you’ll keep getting busier during “non busy” season as you progress through your career. Pick what you think will be easiest and take it at end of Jan. Do as many MCQ as you can and don’t waste time writing notes or reading unless you really struggle with an area.
Can you keep up despite the busy season? If you can, I would advise that you go for it. Go while everything is still fresh in your mind. If you think you are ready despite all odds, again, go for it.
Literally what I’m thinking.

No, please keep going
Honestly I think that's an excuse for procrastination - I say this because I was the same really. I put it off far longer than I should've because I was so scared of messing up. Eventually you just have to bite the bullet and do it
