Work at a large tech org, selling into the fortune 500. Promotions to AE have historically taken 2+ years to AE. Currently been at the org for a year and some, and have been offered a strategic role (intermediary role ) - after campaigning for myself. It’s good experience with the top strat rep in my firm. I’ve been told this transition will not have a title change/comp difference. How do I make an argument for myself here? Is it even worth posing the question of comp/title changes
