I’ll play contrarian. You just graduated undergrad - I can think of many better uses of that money. If a new analyst came in with a $6k watch I’d judge them...especially if you’re rolling to work in a civic. Is it necessary to literally wear your wealth on your sleeve? But hey, you do you
BC1 — You shouldn’t judge. You have no idea why they might have that watch (e.g., inheritance from a recently passed relative, engraved with something personal). It’s bad practice. OP is not a 16 year old bus boy; he/she is making good money and should be able to spend it however he/she wants.
Option Number 2
Awwww this love story is one to ‘watch'
My most respected brand,
BB58s are trickling in, but we took a lot of ore-orders that need to be fulfilled first. Bracelets are the largest backlog, but strap and NATO can be had sooner. Best bet is to put down a deposit and secure your place. We also offer 5 yr warranties on all new watches, which more than doubles the Tudor 2 year mfg warranty
Go for it. U’ve earned it. Speedmaster is awesome. Bought myself a Tag wit my bonus 🤓
I love the speedmaster. Great choice!
Speedy is a great choice, I’m looking at Tudor rn
Look - seriously - I bought a really nice Louis bag. There is investment dressing - it’s reality. As long as you don’t become the “label guy” or gal it’s appropriate

@MD1 I hate Archie. Couldn't finish the video.
I like the 50F
Look at Breguet at the same time, might be a good option too

How big is your wrist?
I got my first Rolex when I was 35. I’d already bought a couple of houses, a Porsche and had a broad investment portfolio which looked after my wife and kids. Looked at the Rolex, thought it was a cliché and then spent 12 months looking at other options. Came back to Rolex Sub as - although it may be unoriginal - it’s a classic, incredibly comfortable to wear and one of only a few brands which are investment grade watches. It is also very (personally) pleasing to the eye.
When I joined Consulting I received a signing bonus of around 10’000 bucks - and I wasted it on an expensive Bose stereo system. Felt great! Looking back now I wish I’d invested it....
So my tip is - yes spend it on a watch but do your research so what you buy is investment grade. Then you potentially have the best of both worlds!
AP, watch out for this watch. If your date shows up with it, call me straight
Watches have been my weakest spot since out of college
Daily Wear
Just tried it on
And OP, contact me if you haven’t already made the purchase. I may be able to get you the Dark Side of the Moon for a better price. Cheers!
That's an awesome job!
